A. A. McNamara lives in Minnesota, writes books and stories (mainly fiction, mainly fantasy), and drinks a lot of tea.

Their past writing-related activities include Viable Paradise XV, the 2008 Odyssey Workshop, and a number of years as an Associate Editor for Ideomancer (may it rest in peace). They trained as a librarian and use those skills in a variety of contexts.
